Therefore, the design of drilling system is highly regulated by local or international codes/standards, such as API, DNV, ABS, or ASME. These codes/standards provide guidances on the design and analysis of the drilling equipment. Recently, managed pressure drilling (MPD) and safety devices (e.g., riser gas handling), have been used extensively in onshore and offshore drilling, expecially in offshore deepwater drilling. Sealing plays an essential function in oil/gas and other industries. Due to its unique properties and functionalities, the design of elastomeric seal is relatively independent to the other components. Tau Engineering is experienced on design and analysis of both large sealing elements (e.g., BOP annular packing element and RCD passive packing element) and standard O-Ring or other type sealing elements.

Tau Engineering provides design and analysis of semiconductor equipment, automation, and packaging.
